Our History
W3Z: Web Without Wires from Zycomm
Founded in 2003 to meet the needs of local residents, W3Z Broadband was born from the skills and expertise of the engineers at Zycomm Electronics, the market leader in two-way radio communications and research for over 30 years.
By using tried and tested radio technology, W3Z were able to transmit superfast broadband services to remote and inaccessible locations where other forms of broadband service were either too slow or prohibitively expensive to install.
As the business grew, we became a leader in the field, and a forming member of the UK Wireless ISP Association. In 2020 we joined CSE Crosscom, bringing a new arm to an already successful communications provider.
Now, we continue to grow our influence from Derbyshire across the country.
